The process of selection is the process in which you select the trait you want to replicate or recreate. Example: to grow the largest pumpkin, you select the seeds from the largest pumpkin you can find. Then you plant those seeds. Then after they grow, select the largest pumpkin and use its seeds to plant more pumpkin. Repeat process for many years.
