Life expectancy is an indication of how long a person can expect to live, it is the number of years of life remaining to a person at a particular age if death rates do not change.

Emotional health and wellbeing refers to a persons ability to recognise and manage their emotions whereas mental health and wellbeing refers to the functioning of the mind and brain, including processes such as problem solving and memory.

Not material in nature, but relates to ideas, beliefs, values and ethics that arise in the minds and conscience of human beings. Spiritual health includes the concepts of hope, peace, a guiding sense of meaning or value, and reflection on your place in the world.

YLL - Years of Life Lost due to premature death. 

YLD - proportion of healthy life lost due to living with a disease in a given year.

DALYs - Disability Adjusted Life Years are a measure of burden of disease. One DALY is equal to one year of healthy life lost due to illness and/or death. DALY are calculated as the sum of the years of life lost due to premature death and the years lived with disability for people living with the health condition or its consequences. (AIHW, 2018)

HALE's - 

A measure of burden of disease based on life expectancy at birth, but including an adjustment for time spent in poor health. It is the number of years in full health that a person can expect to live, based on current rates of ill health and mortality.
