200

How do Program teams currently access GMS documents?

A donor increases funding to an existing award. What factors determine whether this should be recorded as an Award modification versus creating a new Prospect, Opportunity, and Award?

  • If the change requires a revised proposal, new scope, donor resubmission, or results in a new grant code:
→ Create a new Prospect, Opportunity, and Award
  • If the change is administrative (e.g., NCE, minor budget shift, or small additional funding):
→ Record as an Award modification within the existing Award
