What is No? Past student loans need to be in good standing before the student will be Pell eligible.
If I am a student who has completed the MBC and HIS degree, what degree can I transfer into to get a bachelor’s in this field?

What is Yes? Minimum GPA requirement is 2.0.
If I am over 24, a parent, or married; do I have to provide my parents financial information?
What is No? Anyone who is 24, a parent, or married is considered an independent student and does not need to provide their parents financial information on their FAFSA.

What is No? HIS requires one practicum course with on-site job training. The practicum course is online but the student will need to complete in person practicum experience.

What is Yes? Students can apply to scholarships and grants prior, during, and sometimes after they have graduated.

What is Yes, UC is regionally accredited. Regional credits can transfer to other regional schools and nationals school. Only nationally accredited credits can not transfer to a regionally accredited school.
Can a student take their exams in their classes when they want?
What is Yes? UCO utilizes HonorLock and allows students to proctor themselves with a smart device.
If a veteran has used up all their Post 9/11 and has 75% disability due to their service; do they qualify for any additional VA aid?
What is Yes, VocRehab. Veterans with over a 20% disability rating can receive additional aid.

What is No? An individual can still receive the education, but job placement might become difficult post-graduation.

What is Yes, CLEP exams and Prior Learning Assessment. Students can do the Prior Learning Assessment for Med Term as well if they feel they have the knowledge of the course but don’t actually have credit for it.

What is 6 months or 6 consecutive payments? Past due loans need at least 6 months of payments or 6 consecutive payments before a letter of good standing is issued. The student will need to check with the loan provider or collection agency.
What credentials can I sit for after completing the MBC?

What is Yes? UCO Faculty have office hours where students meet with them virtually.
If a student has a past due amount at a college, they attended less than a year ago, the student had to drop out because of a life changing event, can the student appeal the past due balance?
What is Yes? Student academic appeals typically require student to reach out with one year or one semester after the appealed semester.
