Because he was accused for raping native 9 year old girls and for being accused of chopping off the natives hands.

He joined forces with other tribes that hated the Myans.

King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella released him from jail, so he could explore more.

They might of still gone to England someday or they might have stayed in America and grown their tribe into a society or city. What do you think?

Someone would have probably discovered it eventually or the Native Americans maybe, would have taken over America. What do you think?
What if there were no printing press in the 1450's?
Then no one would have books and not a lot of people would have information. People wouldn't be able to learn to read as fast. What do you think?
What if Atahualpa never of threw Pizarro's Bible on the ground?
They might have still gotten in a war because even if Atahualpa rejected it nicely, Pizarro probably would have still started a war because Atahualpa still rejected their Bible.
