I want to know how people lived and why they did the things they did

Mountains, rivers, hills, deserts, forests
What are landforms?
I focus on the study of people and the places they live
What is human geography?
Tools, coins, or pottery
What are artifacts?
The study of the past based on what people left behind
What is Archaeology?
I am materials that are found in the earth that people need and value
What are resources?
History shapes our identity and teaches us ideas that we share
What are values?
I am learning and experiencing an event first hand

What is a Map?
History teaches us about our own and also about those that are unlike our own

Information gathered by someone who did not take part in or witness and event
