What are the effects (graces, benefits) of confirmation?
It is the gift which helps us to make proper judgements and decisions.
What is "Counsel"?
You keep this commandment by attending Mass.
What is "Keep Holy the Lord's Day"?
They shall receive mercy.
Who are "The Merciful"?
This moral virtue demands that we treat others with fairness.
What is JUSTICE?
This sacrament nourishes us, body and soul.
What is "Eucharist"?
It helps us to stay on the right path even when we are tired, discouraged, or hurt.
What is "Fortitude"?
You break this commandment when you lie to your mother.
What is "Honor your Father and your Mother"?
They shall see God.
Who are "The Pure in Heart"?
By giving us the gift of this theological virtue, God enables us to love Him, and to love our neighbor.
What is CHARITY?
This sacrament helps us to feel God's healing presence.
What is "Anointing of the Sick"?
It combines both our intellect and our heart, and is considered both the first and the greatest of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
What is Wisdom"?
You break this commandment when acquiring money or possessions becomes more important to you than your relationship with God.
What is "You shall not have strange Gods before me"?
They shall be satisifed.
Who are "Those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness"?
This theological virtue allows us to trust in God and His promises.
What is HOPE?
This sacrament leads us to forgiveness and emotional healing.
What is "Reconciliation"?
This gift helps us recognize our reliance on God, our deep bond with Him, and so it helps us remember to turn to him, even in our most troubled our difficult moments.
What is "Piety"?
It is to love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
What is "The Great(est) Commandment"?
They shall be called children of God.
Who are "The Peacemakers"?
They are the signs that a person is living the virtues in their daily life.
What are the Fruits of the Holy Spirit? or What are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Generosity, Gentleness, Faithfulness, and Self-Control?
These two sacraments both call on us to develop our talents and gifts in order serve the whole Church.
