Later, after many years, Sarah bore a child, which she named Issac. What was Abraham commanded to do? (Genesis 22:1-2)

He was commanded to sacrifice Issac, his only son as a burnt offering.

Hineni (הנני) is a profound Hebrew phrase meaning "Here I am," representing total presence, accountability, and readiness to act, often used in response to a divine calling

Other key details is that it was a three day journey, Issac carries the wood for the sacrifice up the mountain, The sacrifice occured on Mount Moriah, Issac submitted to his father's will, and he was later replaced by a ram caught in thorns.

This entire sacrifice mirrors Jesus getting crucified, and Abraham, being the father of many nations, had to prove to the Lord that he had enough strength in his testimony to feel the immense suffering that the Lord himself had to go through.
