Interfering with another resident’s reasonable ability to sleep, study, or be present in one’s own room or residence hall without disruption
What is considered noisy, disorderly, and disruptive behavior?
Possessing or being in the presence of alcohol paraphernalia while under the age of 21 and/or being in the presence of alcohol consumption while under the age of 21.
What is the alcohol policy for minors?
Residents are required to comply with official requests or directives of University Staff and Officials. Residents must not interfere, obstruct, or provide false information to staff performing their duties.
What is failure to comply?
Hosting or giving access to anyone who is unapproved or trespassed from entry to residence hall spaces.
What is our building access policy?
Causing, or attempting to cause, damage, destruction, alteration, or defacement to property of the University, a group, or an individual
What is property damage?
10 pm- 8 am
When are quiet hours?
The possession, use, sale, or distribution of any drug, drug paraphernalia, or controlled substance prohibited by state or federal law. This prohibition includes the possession, use, sale, or distribution of marijuana in any form.
What is our general drug use policy?
Negligently, recklessly, or intentionally causing physical harm.
What is endangering behavior?
Unauthorized possession, duplication, or use of University Housing keys and/or isuse of an electronic access card or security feature
What is our key and ID policy?
Allowing unauthorized individuals access to residential spaces and/or permitting individuals to remain in residential spaces beyond the authorized time period.
What is our guest policy?
7 pm- 5 pm
When are quiet hours during finals week?
Detectable and/or disruptive alcohol intoxication regardless of age.
What is our alcohol consumption policy for of-age residents?
Abusive or adverse treatment of residents, guests, or staff members, such as harassment, bullying, or any behavior that results in a hostile work, living, or academic environment.
What is our civility policy?
Failing to immediately evacuate during a general alarm and/or tampering with or damaging fire equipment.
What is our fire equipment, code, and procedures policy?
The presence of unauthorized animals or pets in the residence halls, with the exception of fish.
What is our pet policy?
24 hours
When are courtesy hours?
Consumption of alcohol in areas other than an enclosed residential room.
What is our alcohol consumption policy?
Inciting, assisting, facilitating, being in the presence of, or acquiescing in the engagement of any violation of the Standards of Residence, PSU Code of Conduct, or law is prohibited.
What is collusion?
Possession and/or the burning of candles, incense, herbs, and/or oils, and leaving any cooking device unattended while in use, and/or failing to provide adequate ventilation while cooking
What is our fire safety policy?
Unauthorized posting of signage, sales, and solicitation in the residence halls.
