Sliding it into the shelf to hold the place of a book while you're looking at it and deciding if you want to check it out. Pulling it out after you've made a decision and putting it away when you're finished.
NO hitting/bending/playing with it.

Your parents will have to pay $15 to replace it. You will only be allowed to check out 2 books for the rest of the year or until your parents pay.
