Special Friday schedules where StuGov hosts games, school-wide competitions, and activities throughout the whole day. 

What are "Quaker Days"?

(PRE-COVID) After one receives 8.5 discipline points, you receive lunch detention, and you aren't allowed to go to club meetings. 

What is "L.O.P?"

Near the tennis courts and next to Sesner-1, where you can chill or study with friends, and drink hot chocolate, and eat overpriced food. 

What is the "Fox Den"?

There are sports games, barbecues, clubs selling stuff, fun activities, and we always seem to lose miserably at football. 

What is "Homecoming?"

A school-wide game of manhunt where students use stickers provided by Ms. Matthews to eliminate their targets. 

What is "Quaker Games"?

A two- week period, where you only have 1 subject each day, with a few days of rest in between. 

What are "semester exams"?

A place of tranquility, where coughing chains and dramatic monologues occur across about 30 minutes. 

What is "The Meeting Room"?

Occurs in the spring, where all campuses come together to celebrate the school and also Mr. Garmin as a fox. There is food, speakers, bouncy castles, tightropes, barbeques, and fun activities where preschoolers run around like escaped criminals and are being chased by older students.

What is "Founder's Day?"

Where our 11:30-12:05 Wednesday period takes a 180 and is filled with storytelling, random jokes, and maybe some tears. 

What are "special meeting for worships?"

A 6-week period where you investigate a topic of interest relating to Western history. You will also spend a lot of time in the library during this period. 

What are "research papers?"

Concrete walls and pillars, graduation rehearsals, pep rallies, and standardized testing occur in this building across the year. 

What is "The Athletic Center"?

Where StuGov designates specific themes for each grade, where some are more formal, while others are more informal. There is a DJ, teacher chaperones, and Mr. Woods walking in circles. 

What are "school dances?"

Everyone sings a specific Christmas song, with certain rules to incorporate different groups of people, such as teachers, people in certain grades, and opinions. The seniors often scream. 

What is the "adaption of the 12 days of Christmas"

Where animals are bred for science and then are cut open so we students can observe their organs. Following this activity, the hallway smells of chemicals. 

What are dissections?

Found here, there is a fireplace, a large portrait nailed to a brick wall, lots of shelves, desks, and a computer lab. 

What is the "lower floor of the library?"

Big all-school theater productions led by Ms. Markovitz and the theater department. Singing, Dancing, and set design occur. The productions run for a specific amount of time and tickets can be bought at the box office located in the Art Center. 

What is a "Spring musical"?

One time, this activity led to Mamadou protesting in the hallways. Another time, the teachers were locked in the meeting room with coffee and doughnuts and the older students ran rampant. 

What are senior pranks?

Where three awesome, friendly, and intelligent students, 2 from China and 1 from Palestine join our 10th and 11th grade for an entire year by living with host families.  

What are the "Exchange student programs"?

The first floor of the upper school, next to a water fountain, across from Mr. Gross's office, has a couch, candy, and offices. 

What is "College Counseling"?

On the last day of school for seniors, the seniors run to the courtyard from the senior center to celebrate the end of the school year and the transition to college. 

What is "Senior Run"?
