Therapeutic use of self is when you as the clinician use yourself as a therapy tool. For example if you have a kiddo who is having a challenging behavior and is attempting to elope from your table you can place yourself next to them so they are unable to move from the table.
You have an assisted teletherapy session on your schedule for the afternoon. You have the teletherapy invite on GM and are able to see who the tech is you are working with. Should you communicate with the tech prior to the session? What should that communication look like?
Review the patients chart and reach out to the tech to let them know what you will be working on. If you need the tech to have materials ready give them a very specific list of what you need.
