It looks like that because one eye sees a hole and the other eye sees your hand. Your brain combines the two.

These things in our body contract and relax helping us to be able to move, jump, lift things up, etc...

These allow us to be able to move our fingers and toes and other parts of our bodies. They are connected to bones and muscles.

The back of the eye where the image of what we see is reflected. Is it the part that is attached to the nerves that sends the message to our brain of what we are seeing.
The retina
If our retina's are all white, then why do some people's eyes look red in pictures.
The red comes from the color of their blood vessels that are behind their eyeball. They do not have a colored retina.
