I'm the most important MUSCLE in the body.  I'm so strong, that I can move blood, which carries oxygen and nutrients, through the body.

Most of the nutrients from your food are absorbed into your body in this super long tube.  The villi increase its surface area creating more room for nutrients to be absorbed.

My messages are chemical in nature.  The chemicals I create are called hormones.  These hormones travel from glands, through the bloodstream, to create homeostasis.

I connect arteries to veins.  I'm only one cell thick.  My thin walls allow oxygen to flow out to other body cells and carry carbon dioxide away from body cells.

This muscular bag churns and mixes food with enzymes before it moves on to the intestines.
