People do not have a say in the government or are able to vote for their leaders, the leaders were not voted by everyone
If we have a Declaration of Human Rights that has been signed by many countries, why do we still have human rights issues today?
Because the document is not held up by law and technically it is optional

Forced removal from homes, there was no equality, only a small group of people had a say in the government, laws on who could and couldn’t marry violence, etc.

They didn’t have a say in the government, they were not allowed to operate certain businesses (salt), there was not equality, violence against those who protested
What impact does not having the right to vote have on people and the country?
You don’t have a say in the government and picking leaders, the elected leaders are not true representatives of the people because not everyone could vote
