I wanted to have ham and pepperoni pizza (my favourite!) but the store ran out of the toppings. How can I be a playdoh thinker?

It's recess time! I'm so hungry. I open up my lunchbox and find my least favourite snack ever in there. What is a rock response?
Scream "YUCK!!!" and throw the lunchbox on the floor.
This strategy can make me breathe slower if I need to calm down.
Take three deep bubble breaths.
Don't want to accept changes, don't want to try new things. Get mad when things don't go my way.
Rock thinking
I only think of one way to solve a problem. If this way doesn't work, I get really mad.

I'm watching TV and dad says it's sunny outside, let's go for a walk. What would be a rock response?
"No, I don't want to, leave me alone to watch TV!!!"
Someone bumps into my table while I'm writing and my words are messed up. How can I be a playdoh thinker?
"I'll count to 10 in my head and use a eraser to rub out the mistakes."
This strategy tells me to push the rock thought out of my head. It's also a title of a song from the movie Frozen.

I do this behaviour when I am in the GREEN zone. Others around me think comfortable thoughts about me and are happy and calm.

I only think about myself and what I want to do when making plans.

My friends and I are playing tag. I didn't want to be It but everyone already started running off. How can I be a playdoh thinker?
"That's okay, I'll be It first. Someone else will be It next when I catch them!"
This strategy lets me think of other options to solve my problem, I might need someone else's help.

I do this behaviour when I am in the BLUE or YELLOW or RED zone. Others around me think uncomfortable thoughts about me, and could be confused, sad, worried, or angry with me.
