What is PySpark?
At The Hartford, we have computers that run Python, but we also have Hadoop which is a multi-machine database that spreads data and processing over multiple computers. Hadoop has a fast processing engine called Spark. Python can be used with Spark to create and process data loaded on Hadoop, as such it is called PySpark.
