What does resolved mean in this situation?

Resolved means that the artist went back and made edits, refined their artwork, and connected it back to the other pieces that they are studying. It is not random.

A line of inquiry is a question, theme or idea that you are studying as an artist. It is important because it guides your work, you are not just creating random sketches, they are connected and you are exploring something that is important to you as a person and student.
