This fish has a slate greenish body with lighter undersides. It also has white dots all over its body. This fish is the only actual native fish that lives in Lake Michigan.

This fish has a black top with silver sides. This fish also has a black mouth. These fish live up to 4 years and go back to where they were spawned to reproduce and die.

Chinook Salmon (King Salmon)

This fish has a long body with a flattened nose and a toothless mouth on the underside. This fish is the oldest living fish found in Wisconsin being able to live 100 years or more.

These fish look much like a Chinook Salmon but are smaller. Females turn green during spawning states and males turn bright red during spawning stages. Mainly caught in Lake Michigan and rivers connected to it.

Coho Salmon

This fish is a part of what we know as the bass family but much like the others it has a silver body with green stripes going across the body. Mainly found in the Mississippi River.

This fish has a round body and has black specks all over its body. This fish is mainly eat smaller bait fish called shiners.

This fish has large black spots on its back and heavy oval shaped black splotches on the upper and lower parts of its tail. They are mainly identified by their hump in their back.

This fish has a yellow golden to olive green body much like a walleye and actually looks just like one but the only thing difference is the fish has spots along their entire dorsal fin. Mainly found in the Mississippi River.

This fish has a deep forked tail and looks much like a Chinook Salmon. They have a really short face much like a brown trout. These fish are the rarest fish to catch around Algoma.

This fish has a golden brown body with very edged out scales going across its entire body. This fish is the most well known invasive fish in the world. They can be found almost anywhere as they can adapt very easily.
