Ignite’s purpose is to glorify God by serving these specific students.
Incoming students (Freshmen and Transfer students).

Sin is defined as this, proceeding from a heart that doesn't treasure God.
Disobedience toward God
This is the difference between "belief" and "faith" in the Gospel.
Belief is cognitive assent; Faith is a full commitment of trust.

Communion or Baptism.
To avoid community disappearing after graduation, this is vital.
Involvement in a local church (since Ignite only lasts 4 years)

Because the responsibilities of Scripture are tied to the church, parachurch ministries do not have these God-ordained prescribed roles.
Authority Structures (such as elders and deacons).
Jesus gave us a perfect example of prayer by withdrawing to these places.
Lonely/solitary places (or mountainsides).
Every person is made in this, giving them a specific purpose.
The Image of God
Why was it necessary for Jesus to be fully God?

These types of leaders are God-appointed to watch over our souls.
Elders, Deacons, or Bishops.
While the Church is eternal, parachurch ministries should do this as soon as they cease to be of use in the mission of the Church in their context.
