I hold countless voices but make no sound.

What is library?
I have many students but no children of my own.
I give out lessons but never take a test.
You’ll find me in a classroom helping minds to grow.
What is teacher?
I wear no feathers yet wear wings; I chase the horizon with metal strings. With pilots I travel, with passengers I glide — I cross time zones while oceans hide.
What is airplane?
An event to vote on new community leaders.
What is an election?
I am a vault of trust, though I have no locks.
I multiply what you give me but never eat or spend.
People come to me with plans, debts, and dreams,
and I keep track of it all without ever sleeping.
What is bank?
I patrol day and night but I am not a guard dog.
I carry tools of justice but no carpenter’s kit.
I write reports yet I’m not an author,
and my badge gives me the authority to serve and protect.
What is police?
For just a few dollars, this large vehicle can take you and dozens of others to school, work, or across town.
What is bus?
Usually occurs on Saturdays. Farmers may sell produce, or local business owners may set up to sell their products.
What is a Farmer's Market?
I am a marketplace under one roof,
Where perishables and packaged goods coexist.
Carts and baskets traverse my aisles,
Exchanging coins and bills for nourishment and treats.
What is grocery store?
I study for years but never stop learning.
I search for answers hidden beneath symptoms.
Though I cannot promise immortality,
I mend the body with knowledge, skill, and care.
What is doctor?
I have no feet but I can run,
I carry people one by one.
I follow tracks both night and day,
Stopping at stations along the way.
What is train?
Happens on the 4th of July to bring the community together to celebrate Independence Day.
