eating alone provides an opportunity for people to engage in personal decisions( such as what to watch), creating an ideal avenue for looking at information behaviour.

Challenges with recruitment. Surprised that social media was some of the least consulted information resources.

No - like many other areas of interest, it can vary.

Occupational Devotion under Serious Pursuits (authors)
Relaxation under Casual Leisure (introspection and meditation)
Occasional Project-Based Pursuits (creation of birth charts)

Did you have any cutting points or sensitizing topics?
Proposed cutting points: focus on a specific genre of anime or an anime studio.
Proposed sensitizing concepts: berrypicking model and information activities

Why do you consider anime watching to be a serious leisure hobby instead of casual leisure?
Can become "serious" overtime and branch out into many aspects of the SLP:
- collecting (anime merchandise, DVDs, manga volumes)
- art (fan art, fan edits, fanfiction)
- liberal arts pursuits (online fandom participation/discussion, gain some cultural/linguistic knowledge)
