What is a topic sentence?
The sentence that states the paragraphs central idea.
What are detail sentences?
Detail sentences provide facts and cite evidence from the text to support the central ideas.
What is text evidence?
Evidence that comes directly from the text. It's the exact words, facts or quotes the author used.
What does text analysis mean?
