Diabetic emergency means someone's blood glucose is either too high or too low.
Good rule of thumb- always administer sugar/glucose. Candy, soda juice, candy etc.
Call EMS immediately and fill out incident report.
Monitor person for change in condition.
Give care as needed.

6. If bleeding continues for longer than 10 minutes and is gushing or if person is complaining of nausea, dizziness, blurry vision, headache, or they lose consciousness call EMS.
7. Monitor condition as needed.
