Staff should assign this to the client during the initial intake process.

An intake has arrived onsite and completed his/her UA test. How long should you wait until the test has valid results?

Upon arrival, staff must observe the client’s behavior, presentation and overall condition to identify these concerns.

What are the proper steps to setting up the intake room?
What is 1.) Make sure the intake room is cleaned out with anything from the previous intake. 2.) Make sure the trash is taken out. 3.) Vacuum the intake room when needed. 4.) Make sure we have an intake packet ready. 5.) UDS/BA/Pregnancy test put out with gloves. 6.) Make sure we have bins labeled with Client first name, last initial, and ID number. 7.) Make sure we have a book bag for the intake. 8.) Finally, make sure there is a laundry basket for inventory.
Immediately upon arrival, the intake asks if they are going to detox. How do you proceed?

EX: "I unfortunately can't identify if you are going DTX or RTC. Our medical team handles giving you the proper orders. Once we're done, medical will come up here to do their assessment. Then they speak with our provider, who will then give orders for RTC or DTX."
