Ross’s theory is based on moral obligations, things like avoiding harm and fidelity. Anonymity spurs both negative and positive reactions in users, and the negatives are more obvious and often more prevalent. Ross would weigh avoiding harm more heavily than breeding creativity through anonymous behavior and would thus probably advocate for removing the anonymous option online to avoid potential harm.
