What you would be trying to achieve if you: made sure the main subject of a shot is a good distance from the background, made sure you are not pulled out too much with your zoom lens, and made sure your camera's iris is as open as possible.

The rule that states: When you’re getting two successive shots of the same actor and you want to have at least a 30-degree difference in filming angle from one shot to the next.
