A plant that has evolved or adapted to our local environment for thousands of years, and is an important part of our local habitats, ecosystems and ecosystem services.
I am employed by land-grant universities and serve the citizens of that state by serving as an expert or teacher on a topic relating to economics, community development, agriculture, family, animal production, diet, and nutrition.

Erosion, holds the soil together and absorbs the water very well because the roots are very long.

Oxygen we breathe, we eat the plants and/or eat the animals that eat the plants. (Plants have to grow in order for us to eat them and they need glucose to grow).
What is the difference between fruits and flowers?
Fruits protect and help spread seeds. Flowers contain the structures for reproduction.

Native plants have roots that are long enough to absorb mass amounts of water, which is one of the three things that photosynthesis needs to occur.
