How will we know what class we will have during each lesson period?
Check your lanyard, check your copy of the timetable at home, check the front of the classroom!
Let's say you've just used something from the front of the room (a whiteboard marker, a coloured pencil, a pair of scissors, etc).
What should you do next?
Pretty simple - put it back neatly in its home, and look around for other items that have been taken out of their home!

Bus: Front of school
Pick-up: The classroom or from the Junior School Quad (let Ms Liu know!)

Tokyo, Japan
and before that, Chicago, USA!

New activity unlocked!
Let's play a round of Wordle using our whiteboard tools.

How many students have been at Dulwich College (Singapore) since they were in DUCKS?
(Give your best guess... we will solve this together in a moment!)
Let's count...
*What is the purpose of our student diaries, and how can we earn House points with them?
We use our student diaries to list the homework and keep track of CCAs. We use the blank page each week to record our reading, spellings and other notes. In order to earn House points, we will need to keep up with those things and also get a signature from an adult at home.
What are our trays at the front of the classroom used for?
They will store any papers that you do not need to take home yet. You will also sometimes place your independent reading/library books, exercise books, journals or diaries inside.
This is also a good place to put anything for 5I that you do not need to bring to Mandarin, specials, or maths, since the classroom will be used for other students!
*What are we expected to bring to school each day?
50 points per correct answer!
• School bag
• Water bottle (labeled with name)
• Hat
• Snack during break (can purchase)
• Lanyard

• Pencil case (optional)
• Packed lunch (if not buying)

Let's list them out...
and then practise it!
Notice anything about the chairs in the room? How should they look when you are seated in them? How should they look when you are NOT using them?
(Hint: At the start of the day, I intentionally set some of the chairs up to be the correct way and left some of them in the incorrect way. Can you figure out what that is?)
