Eye contact, facing them, listening.

One of your IP teachers. This isn't something you would typically share with strangers.
Why is it important to have an idea of what you want to order before getting in line?
So you don't hold up the line and make everyone wait.
Is it okay to cut in line if your friend is already there?
No.
What does $0.25 mean?
25 cents (a quarter).
If someone disagrees with you, what should you do?
Stay calm and respond respectfully. People are allowed to have different opinions.
Should you share your home address with someone you just met?
No.
When it’s your turn at the counter, what should you say first?
“Hi” and then clearly state your order.
If someone accidentally bumps into you, what should you say?
“It’s okay” or “Excuse me.”

If you feel frustrated in public, what’s a good strategy?
Take a breath, step away briefly, ask staff for support, use the restroom. Whatever you do, remember to STAY CALM!
Why is it important to stay with your group during community outings?
For safety. We don't want anyone getting lost!
After you order and pay, what should you do next?
Put away any change, cards, or receipts neatly and then move away from the counter and wait in the pickup area.
What should you do with your tray or trash when you’re done?
Throw it away or place it in the return area.
Why is it important to check your receipt and change at a store?
To make sure you got the correct amount.
If you make a mistake at work, what should you do?
Admit it and ask how to fix it.
If a stranger offers to buy you something, what should you do?
Politely decline and tell your teachers.
If you have been waiting a very long time for your food, what can you do?
Politely ask, “Did you call my name?” or if you missed something.
If you see someone sitting alone from the other program, or not involved, what could you say?
“Hi, do you mind if I sit here?” or ask them a question about themself.
If you only have $8 and the meal you want costs $12, what should you do?
Choose something cheaper or ask for help before ordering.
