Velocity v Time graph- 

You set out driving to the store. You drive with a constant acceleration, then settle into a constant speed until you pull into the parking lot. You decelerate and park. While shopping, you run out of money. You don't want to go home and then come back, so instead decide to shove a few necessary items into your bag and hope no one notices. Unfortunately, the cart-guy notices and begins to approach you as you're packing your things into your trunk. You jump in your car. You accelerate way faster than you did on your initial trip to the store and book it out of there. In fact, you accelerate all the way to your house where you slam on the brakes and come to a screeching halt in your driveway.
