I think we’ll just build our own internal platform -
it will be more flexible and customizable.
How will you plan and budget for future needs / innovation?
Our corporate LMS delivers training already.
Not all training is delivered equal - long corporate & OSHA training is good onboarding and required certification, but wouldn't it be more powerful to train on product X where the product is sold in the store?
It looks good, but what we have is free.
Doing the same thing will only get you the same results.
We need a VW, not a Porsche.
Branded stickers or cases (or devices) can make the usage look official - the rest is handled by coaching and training.
We already have Microsoft & Google suits so we're good.
How do you plan to adapt home office solutions to frontline needs?
I don't believe in the Microlearning methodology.
Microlearning provides shorter, bite sized chunks of knowledge and interaction rather than longer forms that require a longer time commitment for the instructional designer and the learner. This is especially true of modern learners and the learning chunks necessary for many frontline tasks.
SaaS contracts always seem to have hidden costs.
Our contracts are (will be) short and straightforward, designed to help you predict investment and you grow your business - you tell us stores and users, we'll tell you one number.
All these features seem really expensive - we don't need EVERYTHING.
What's your biggest priority? Let's start there.
We have store devices, but no standard device.
YOOBIC is fully adaptive across android, iOS, tablet, and web browser - let me show you how it looks across different devices.
My cousin just learned Ruby on Rails and is really underpaid.
What happens if the project doesn’t work out and confidence in your team is lost? Is it someone's job (besides your cousin)?
I need off the shelf, pre-built content.
We work with partners that provide a great library of on-the-shelf courses & support a content creation center in which we have a template library.
My current supplier just reduced their license fee by 50%.
If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is - what is the latest feature released that drove value? The roadmap item you are excited about? When vendors start dropping price to keep market share, innovation starts to get cut too.
I don't want to created individual accounts.
Remember, your contract is location based, not user based. When you give users their own credentials, they can earn points, top the leaderboard, and receive individual training and coaching.
My union will make me pay for every minute members use the application.
We've deployed in California, France, Germany, and the Nordics - our tech accounts for location, shift, and authorization to use the platform. YOOBIC makes it easy to ensure users are only on the app when they are on shift and at work.
Our company has been innovating on retail for 100 years - we have the expertise.
Our company has over 100 years of combined tech experience with $20M in product R&D with quarterly launches. What's the last platform IT launched and updated?
We build all our content in SCORM.
We have no restriction on format of content. Clients import SCORM files regularly and amplify learning with additional, gamified course built in YOOBIC.
A 36 month contract is longer than I've ever stayed in a flat - I have no idea what I'll need in 3 years.
I'm looking for a communication tool but you asked all these questions about things I don't need.
It's our job to help understand your needs now and in the future. Often times, a program like YOOBIC will bring together departments who operate in silos. YOU may need a communication solution, but you might learn SARAH's team needs a learning platform. Why go through two cycles when you can go through one?
We just invested all this money in Zebra devices. We can't buy phones and iPads too.
YOOBIC is compatible with any android device, browser, and Zebra model. Your teams won't have any issue leveraging our platform.
I'd like you to give my IT group a tour of the entire platform and access to a demonstration sandbox for a month before we can proceed.
WARNING - IP THEFT ALERT.
When access to the platform is requested, we want to understand the goals, the timeline, and use cases that will lead to a decision. Most of the time, we can resolve your questions with a combination of tailored demos and reference calls combined with an onsite test of the remaining requirements.
My teams will never engage in the long term - they will get bored or busy. OR BOTH.
YOOBI 50% more engagement than traditional e-learning modalities and platforms - clients are regularly seen to have over 70% weekly active usage!
Our fiscal year ends in 11 months - come back next year.
That's understandable - but let's align you believe there is value in the platform. What other investment is predicting a better return? Is more valuable than your frontline work force?
We're too big to roll it out this quick and without testing it with the markets so we need to start with small
Rightsizing the programming and phasing the rollout is very common. When we do this, clients quickly realize the majority of their frontline staff require no training and can accelerate pace - Rituals for example completely eliminated the need for all their roll out waves because the ease and success of the first one.
We have terrible cell coverage and wifi signal - it just won't work.
Our entire platform can function in offline mode - complete what you have to do and sync when you are back online. This is how clients in dead zone in art deco buildings, rural stores, and less connected geographies can still let YOOBIC take the work out of work!
