Only in recent years have I dove into the world of owning exotic animals. This little guy was my first exotic pet, and he was certainly...special. Unfortunately because of his genetic background, lack of survival instincts, and some mistakes on my end, he did not live very long, but he will always be remembered fondly.
Freddy
I've made OCs before, but they were mostly just for looks. This was my first real OC with a story, and unfortunately, all my middle school angst. She's angry, she's messy, but we love her anyways.

I went in to get X-rays for my collarbone, and came out with the knowledge that this bone in my body was fractured 10 or so years ago.

My brother once brough home 2 goldfish someone gifted him at a party. Unfortunately, Shelly and Kelly only lasted a couple day. After them, this animal was gifted to me for Christmas, without my parents' knowledge. This was my first pet that was 100% for me.
Hamster (Frosty)
I blame this show and the man who created it for all subsequent fandoms I've become obsessed with. It introduced me to fandom spaces, theorizing, and kickstarted my own art journey. It's the reason I created my first real OCs.

Zesty. I bought him heavily discounted on Black Friday in 2024 after being in the store for about a month. Now, because of his poor diet in the store and his genetics, he has this medical condition that makes him curvy.
