In classic UI fashion, I have a retreat karaoke memory. We were in Chicago, post-Crux, all hanging out in a karaoke room. There was that awkward lull where the karaoke lovers were taking a break and the non-singers weren’t about to break the silence. Out of nowhere, Jackie jumps in and says, “I can sing Smash Mouth!” And she did. It was so fun, and honestly, kind of a sneaky genius karaoke choice.
