What does it mean to "conjugate" a verb?
To change it from its infinitive to a version that makes sense in a sentence.
The infinitive version of a verb always means "to" something. The infinitive version of a verb will end in either -ER, -IR, or -RE.
How many ways are there to translate a present-tense conjugated French verb into English?

Cancel it out; say that it "does not" happen / "is not" happening

1. Drop the last two letters of the infinitive
