I was born on November 6, 1861, in Almonte, Ontario, Canada.

I contributed to the creation of a new sport called basketball.

I began to be recognized a few years after my death.

We were presbyterian, and my parents died during my childhood.

I invented basketball.

I obtained 9 awards and the Wicksteed gold medal, awarded to the best athlete in my category.

They called me Jim - it was associated with my physical ability.

The Mexican Revolution and "Cristera" War.

It was difficult because my parents died and I had to go live with my uncle.

I created a new sport that could be played any time of the year because it is played indoors.

Yes, I got married but my wife died so I took care of my 5 children.

When I invented basketball, I used a peach basket as a hoop, and at first the ball couldn bounce because it was a soccer ball.

I faced bone cancer.

I created the sport mainly alone but my boss gave me some specifications.
