Many classrooms are not equipped to secure test materials. A teacher should always be present and able to view materials at all time. If a teacher needs to leave the room, they should call Mrs. Katie Stucker, who will contact Ms. Hagan, Mr. Green or other designated person.

*All rulers, protractors, thesauri and dictionaries are on-line.  

 Scratch paper must be turned into the BAC with all test materials and destroyed daily. Scratch paper may NOT be used for fifth grade on demand writing. All pre writing must be done in the test booklet. A writers reference sheet will be provided and must be returned.

Extended time should always be given directly after the test.  Teacher will indicate to Ms. Hagan that extended time is needed.  Student will be escorted to the appropriate room for extended time.  If students in class have begun a new test, the student will begin he new test in the extended time room.

What is:

Each testing grade has a test schedule for each content area.  

Each day and testing area is color-coded and a matching colored script is given for each test area.

Testing must occur strictly by the calendar.  Make-up tests will be completed promptly when student returns to school, after student has taken the same grade-level test as given on the schedule.

Accommodations should be age appropriate and clearly described in the student's plan.

Accommodations must be based on the individual needs of the student; not on the disability.

Caution should be used prior to making education plan changes near or within the state-required window.
