What is 3rd, 4th and 5th?
This part use to be on the back of the test booklet to increase security and stress test importance among students. It is now at the beginning of the on-line test. Student signs it BEFORE taking the test.
What is the Student Honor Code? (Given prior to testing and signed before student begin the assessment.)

Students with a 504 PLAN, Home/Hospital, a small percentage will participate in the alternate assessment.
If a student qualifies for the use of a reader (text to speech or human) which sections of the state required assessment can be read to student.
What is all sections of the test: directions, text, graphs, situations, as written. The use a reader should in no way lead the student to the correct answer. It should not be a replacement for reading instruction.

Many classrooms are not equipped to secure test materials. A teacher should always be present and able to view materials at all time. If a teacher needs to leave the room, they should call Mrs. Katie Stucker, who will contact Ms. Hagan, Mr. Green or other designated person.
What is the order which should be followed for test administration?
What is in the order on the Test Schedule, given by BAC or What is order outlined in the TAM (Teacher's Assessment Manual?
This means all third graders should be taking the same portion of the test at the same time and must go in order of the subject areas in the booklet.

*All rulers, protractors, thesauri and dictionaries are on-line.
Scratch paper must be turned into the BAC with all test materials and destroyed daily. Scratch paper may NOT be used for fifth grade on demand writing. All pre writing must be done in the test booklet. A writers reference sheet will be provided and must be returned.

Who is allowed to be a test administrator or proctor (accommodator) for KSA state testing?

1. Staff members-including full-time substitute teachers, who have received annual training with dedicated time to discuss administration procedures and inclusion of special populations training.
2. Those who have signed the training forms for both trainings.
Students are not allowed to be test administrators or proctors.
Explain the protocol for completing a whole group testing seating chart.
One seating chart can be used for the entire testing window. Put dates of absences by absentee's name.
A drawing of the room can be drawn onto the given template or on an attached separate sheet.
Fill the form out completely on the first day of tests.
*Accommodator's Small Group sheet will be filled out for each test.
This must come between every test section (even when testing a student individually).
What is a break?
It can be a short break (10 minutes) During breaks longer than 10 minutes or when all individuals leave the room, materials must be secured by the BAC first.
These materials are approved for math portions of the test.
What are approved hand-held calculators for students with that accommodation on their current education plan. Protractors or angle rulers will be provided on the on-line TEST NAV test.

Materials can only be left unattended in a room under two locks. (Protocol for our school is to always call Ms. Hagan to pick up materials or to stay with materials for a short time.
Who receives extended time and when should extended time be given?
Who are students who have extended time listed on their current IEP, 504 or PSP? It will indicate whether it is time and a half or extended time.
Extended time should always be given directly after the test. Teacher will indicate to Ms. Hagan that extended time is needed. Student will be escorted to the appropriate room for extended time. If students in class have begun a new test, the student will begin he new test in the extended time room.
What materials will be put in baggies for students with current IEP, 504 or PSP?

TAMs will be given to test administrators before testing begins, in order for the administrator to read the directions and scripts carefully.
There are no test items or secure information in TAMS. Administration Code and Inclusion of Special Populations information is included in the manual.
Describe how BAC uses color-coded schedule to communicate testing schedule.
What is:
Each testing grade has a test schedule for each content area.
Each day and testing area is color-coded and a matching colored script is given for each test area.
Testing must occur strictly by the calendar. Make-up tests will be completed promptly when student returns to school, after student has taken the same grade-level test as given on the schedule.
