What is a misplaced modifier?
A word or phrase that is placed to far from the word its modifiying.
What is a run on sentence?
Two or more independent clauses that are joined together without proper punctuation or a coordinating conjunction.
What is a dangling modifier?
A word or phrase not clearly modified in a sentence.
What is a comma splice?
A sentence that has a comma with two or more independent clauses but no coordinating conjunction.
How do you fix a misplaced modifier?
Move the modifier around so the right word is modified.
Fix this sentence.
"We went to the beach it was fun to play in the sand"
"We went to the beach. It was fun to play in the sand"
What is one way you can fix a dangling modifier?

1. Revise the main clause
