Is this replacing Goodrx?
Yes. Capsule is transitioning from GoodRx to Ventegra as its pharmacy discount card partner.
Why are you switching to Ventegra? Are you accepting any other savings cards? Everyone else takes GoodRx, why doesn’t Capsule?
We recently streamlined all our discount card programs to two single vendors, Ventegra and TrumpRx, to help provide more consistent savings and a clearer process for everyone. The only other discount cards we can accept are some brand-name medications through GoodRx.
Is there a website, similar to GoodRx, where customers can check and compare prices from different pharmacies?
No, Ventegra does not offer a standalone, public prescription discount card like GoodRx.
How can I find out what my prescription will cost before it’s filled?
We can only provide a copay amount if there’s an active prescription on file that we can use to process the savings card with.
Are you able to reassign to a CP if the customer is based in NY but the prescription is written for LAX?
No!~
Is this the same as Ventegra PBM Billing?
No. This is a separate workflow. Standard Ventegra PBM Billing is when a customer has pharmacy prescription benefits through Ventegra.
Will you price match if I find another discount card that offers a lower price?
No, we do not price match for other discount cards.
Check to see if their insurance is cheaper, and if so, offer to process with insurance.
Can Ventegra be combined with my insurance?
No, Ventegra cannot be combined with your insurance. Similar to GoodRx, we can only use insurance or a savings card as the primary payer.

Will customers be notified?
No. This change should provide the same or lower pricing for the majority of customers while also benefiting the business, which is why we are taking a reactive communication approach.
Will the price stay the same each time I refill my prescription?
We cannot guarantee the price will stay the same, as savings card prices can change between refills based on the medication, quantity, and current pricing.
Do I need to sign up for a Ventegra coupon?
No, you do not need to sign up for a Ventegra coupon. Their savings card has universal processing information that we use to obtain your copay.

You don’t take GoodRx but take TrumpRx?
We accept a variety of prescription savings programs that help reduce out-of-pocket costs for medications. Our goal is to make prescriptions as affordable as possible for our customers, so we participate in programs that can help lower the price of medications when available.
How can I tell if my GoodRx coupon is a manufacturer coupon?
Manufacturer coupons typically display the medication or manufacturer’s logo in the upper-right corner and require you to complete an eligibility verification process. If you are unsure, send us the coupon details, and we can confirm whether Capsule can accept it.

What do you do if you you receive a refill too soon date and the rx status is data entry?
Change the status to RTS with the correct date so that it automatically processes.
Is this the same as ClearRx Derm+ GAP pricing?
No. The Derm+ GAP pricing process is not changing.
Why is my copay more expensive?
We recently updated the discount card we use to help provide lower pricing for more medications overall. While this change has reduced costs for most prescriptions, pricing can vary by medication, and in some cases the price may be higher.
Why was I not notified before my discount card changed?
