What is the difference between Sketching vs. Drawing? When would you use each one?
Sketching is when an artist draws lightly. This is the phase when you are laying out your picture, making adjustments, erasint, etc. Drawing is when you press harder, or make lines darker in order to make permenant lines (they do not erase cleanly).

In a series circuit electricity travels in 1 closed pathway. Electrons can only go in one direction. When one light goes out, they all go out becuase the pathway is open.

In parrallel circuits, electrons have muliple pathways to follow. Each electrical component has its own circuit. So, if one light goes out, the other lights will still work.

The muscles in your hand go from lose to tight as you press harder to darker tones. ***Fine Motor Skills***

Explain what references are and how references are benefical to use?
References are when artists get photos to help them draw thier own pictures. Using a reference helps the artists remember details, how to draw things, and to refer back to the photo as a resource.

How is it benefical to do the 3 Steps of Drawing, instead of just looking at the outline/detials of an image and drawing it "perfect" right away?
Taking steps to drawing helps make sure the image is laid-out correctly, and helps make sure proportions are correct. Taking these inital steps eases the stress of drawing the "perfect" picture, and helps give you guidlines- which help with accuracy.

Explaing what inking is, how to do it, and why you would want to do it.
Inking is the process where a black pen(ink) is used to outline, add shadows and add details. Inking is used to help make an image more clear, more dramatic, and helps pull out images from the background.

Why do artists typically do not like white paper?
White paper does not allow colors to "pop" or be as vivid as off white paper. Think of photography: Grey overcast days allow for people/cameras to see the best colors. White is to glaring.
