When they stood up to give their speech in front of the whole freshman class, they said "Hello, my name is....". Nothing came out after that and they forgot their own name. They finished their speech and blurted out their name at the end when it came back to them. They felt horrible as they won by a landslide. Ahh...politics!

In college, this Privacy colleague went down a hill as a shortcut to their class. In the winter, every time they took the shortcut, they would slide and land in the snow. They were determined to take the path and after 2 months of snow planting, they finally made it down the hill without sliding.

This new Legal Affairs colleague found out a boy (who they call an "Unsub" for you CSI fans) liked their daughter and held her hand. Their spouse told them not to be awkward if they met the unsub. At the library, they found the unsub interacting with their daughter. A fellow parent started talking to them and they ranted about the unsub and called him a "psycho". The other parent then said "that's my son".

This Regulatory employee was attending a virtual town hall with a small group in person. The in person small group was set up to be able to see the slides and the attendee bubbles. One attendee bubble relocated to the bathroom - nobody but their group witnessed this. It's a funny and uncomfortable story their small group will never forget.

This Privacy colleague was driving to a job interview when a woman cut them off at an exit ramp. They were dying to honk loudly and make an angry gesture. Luckily, they just had a conversation with their son about not escalating things in these situations. They toned it down, smiled and waved. The person who cut them off was going to the same building, they had to share an elevator and they were going to the same office. Luckily, this person was not the interviewer and they got the job. They had a good laugh about it later.

This employee was staying at an AirBnB. They hid behind the front door to surprise their grandson when he arrived. When they grabbed him and picked him up from behind, they pulled a muscle in their lower back.

This Legal Affairs teammate was in a full suit on a hot & humid day. Their suit was sticking to every part of their body. After lunch, they sat down and discovered their pants ripped in their crotch region and they had to go to court in an hour. Luckily, they knew how to sew so ran to CVS to get a sewing kit. Now they don't travel without a sewing kit!
Who is Daniel Kim?
At an annual sales meeting, a VP of Sales (at a previous company) got ridiculously drunk, thew all of the pool furniture in the pool and streaked through the hotel. He was kicked out of the hotel for life and fired shortly thereafter. One of our Contract Specialists had to moderate a panel the next day that he was supposed to be at. They had to avoid answering questions about what happened and why he wasn't there.

This Product Compliance employee was a campus tour guide in college. One day, the manager told her a group of high school girls were visiting and they wanted another girl to talk to them about her typical daily college experience. She was the only girl working when this group was visiting and was only given 1 minute notice to prep to talk to them. Walking in to the room, it was clear this was a group of teenage mothers who would have an entirely different college experience from what was being discussed. At the end, they said "You don't have any babies, do you?"

This Network Access employee was working at the front desk of a hotel. An elderly guest called down asking for a "{NSFW thing}". They did several rounds of "I'm sorry, could you say that again?", with the "{NSFW thing}" getting louder. They eventually realized the person was asking for another guest by name, where the name bore an unfortunate resemblance to the "{NSFW thing}"
Who is Lisa Dunlap?
This Network Access employee was camping with their family. While their family was using the shower facilities to clean up, one of their kids tapped the wheelchair accessible door button, opening the door to give the campground a clear view. Their spouse was able to grab a towel to cover up, but their only protection was to hold a child in front of them while they waited for the door to (slowly) close.

This Network Access employee was working out at the gym. They noticed an old man watching them in the mirror. They decided to confront him and when they went towards him, he pretended to fall asleep. They were so confused and never had a human "possum" on them before. Side note fun fact: This employee also has a black belt in Krav Maga.

True to the nature of those in Compliance, this employee was on an international flight back to the U.S. They brought apples with to eat on the flight. The customs declaration form wants you to declare soil, plants, meats or fruit. They could not lie and wanted to teach their kids a lesson about honesty and integrity, so the apples were declared. The entire family was directed to a dark and dusty room. Apparently normal people don't declare regular apples. The customs machines wouldn't turn on, their family was exhausted and it was taking a very long time. Their spouse asked if they could just throw the apples away and the customs officer said "Oh, you sure can!". They tossed them in the trash and they were free to go. Their lesson in honesty became an ironic story about blind rule following vs. common sense.
