Why did the firm take legal action against someone on social media?

The firm took legal action to protect the immigrant community from misinformation that could harm families and spread fear.

No — not unless the attorney has withdrawn or we’ve filed a substitution of counsel.

200

Does this mean the firm is trying to silence anyone?

The firm’s action was not to silence anyone but to correct false claims and ensure people have access to truthful legal guidance.

200

How is misinformation harming the immigrant community?

By spreading fear and confusion, discouraging families from seeking real legal help

200

No — detained cases or post-order motions are not handled under standard representation. If a client is released on bond, we can reevaluate representation at that time.

No. Client cases are not affected by online activity; all cases continue normally and securely under full representation.

Because presenting a case offers protection and can keep families together, while silence increases risk.

300

Someter un caso lo antes posible para tener protección y tiempo.

Yes — once TPS ends, their EAD tied to it may expire or become invalid.

300

We have a client who, on paper, shows a court date for December 1st, 2025, but the EOIR website shows a Master Hearing for Feb 2027. What date should we go by?

The online ones, however, if you are not showing up as having a case in the eoir system, that means they do not have a case registered with the court for whatever reason.

There is really nothing that you can file or do because there's no way for an attorney to enter an appearance in the court case. This does not mean that an attorney cannot help them with USCIS, however.

400

Why do some people post negative comments about the firm?

Unfortunately, when emotions are high and immigrations policies are so harsh, people sometimes share frustration or misunderstandings online. We understand the pain behind that, and we respond with compassion and facts. In this instance, the misinformation being spread was starting to impact the wellbeing of our clients, which is why we chose to act.

400

How many approvals and protections has the firm achieved for immigrants so far?

Approximately 1,500 final approvals and tens of thousands of work permits and protections.

400

Por qué es riesgoso no tener un caso pendiente si hay redadas de ICE?

Porque sin un caso activo ni permiso, no hay protección en caso de detención.

They may face bars or punishments that prevent them from returning for years.

400
