What are masks?


The CDC recommend that people wear masks in public settings, at events/ gatherings, and anywhere they may be around others to help slow/ prevent the spread of Covid-19. Acceptable masks are those with 2 or more layers of washable, breathable fabric, fit snug against the side of your face with no gaps and can cover your mouth and nose, with a nose wire to keep air from escaping the top of the mask.

What is hand sanitizer?

What is Moderna?


According to the CDC, the three companies that manufacture the COVID-19 vaccines are Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Depending on the vaccine brand, you may get more than one shot. You also must be at least 16 years old to receive the vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech and 18 years old to receive the vaccine from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.

According to the CDC, social distancing is limiting the physical space between oneself and other people you don't live with. It is recommended that people stay at least 6 feet away from one another, both indoors and outdoors, if they don't live in the same household.

What are gloves?


The CDC recommends wearing gloves while cleaning/ disinfecting your home and when caring for someone who is sick. When cleaning it is important to wear the gloves, have ventilation for fresh air in the area being cleaned, disposing/ washing gloves properly and then washing hands after everything. Additionally, when caring for someone who is sick, use disposable gloves when cleaning around the infected person and when having to touch/ have contact with bodily fluids. You must dispose of the gloves in a lined trash can and wash your hands after throwing them away.
