The 14th amendment granted citizenship to everyone born in the United states including foreigner and slaves. The Mexican American happened over a dispute for land. The 20th century was centered around Deportations due to the creation of the Border patrol and Reagans reform act to help regulate the amount of immigrants entering the United States.  This had a negative impact on immigrants because many were being deported and separated from their families. It became much harder to enter illegally which ruined the American dream for many which was to be able to provide for their families and give them the opportunity to a better education, more jobs and economic stability.

Encumber, Trump ordered to get rid of immigrants who overstayed in the United States after their visas expire. He signed a homeland security paper in which countries would be punished with high rates of admissions bond depending on the amount of time foreigners have overstayed and would be repaid until after they left.

Did the Arizona Crisis bulwark or baffle opportunities for Latin American immigrants? Give evidence and explain your reasoning.

Baffle, 2003 when Anti-Immigrant sentiment was at a new high, Arizonans organized a group of volunteers known as “The Minutemen” to patrol the border. These “Minutemen” were to report any sign of immigration at the border near Mexico and San Diego. A Lot of these Minutemen would even feel the need to take on the immigrants themselves as a lot of them had a unusual dislike towards latinos and didn’t want them to enter their country so that is why that group formed. All without any restrictions of the government as if they wanted this to happen , furthermore this went of for years until 2010 when Arizona’s governor, Jan Brewer, signed the broadest and toughest anti–illegal immigrant law in U.S. history.
