America provides access to the American Dream and its promises through opportunity. Opportunity opens the door to possibility and room for work. With hard work and opportunity, there's nothing that can stand in your way to reach your dreams and promises. “Through hard work and perseverance my father got a scholarship to study in a magical place, America, shared as a beacon of freedom and opportunity to so many who had come before him.” (Barack Obama, 84). America provides opportunity for all. Citizens, immigrants…..everyone. All it takes is hard work and dedication and you can accomplish everything. America has become a beacon of freedom and opportunity.

How does America still provide access to the American Dream and its promises?

By finding opportunity and chasing your dreams. You'll go through a journey to finding what you want, through that you'll find who you are as a person and where you belong. “I need to feel like a part of the community I have adopted.” (Mukherjee, 413). Everyone belongs somewhere. All it takes is to know what it is you want. America has become a place of unity. Provides so many provinces (states) for many to settle in, whether it be New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles etc. America provides a place of belonging, a place of open arms to all.

Through life experiences. What we do and experience throughout life impacts our sense of reality. America provides truth, and truth is what helps distinguish false reality and reality. Because of the development of America's truthfulness we can develop a sense of reality. “It is beneficial to know in terms of what the other person's needs are instead of trying to determine who's right and who's wrong.” (Weilen,1) what this suggests is that we shouldn't dictate life. We are given reality and truthfulness through America’s foundation. We are the people, we know what we need and America provides what we need to keep a sense of reality.

How do people develop a false sense of reality?

Through trust is how we determine the truth from the lies. As well as credibility, without credibility there cannot be trust. “Uncle, we did dance; let you tell them I confessed it-and I'll be whipped if I must”...”I'll murder you” he says.”if my wife hangs!” (Miller, 10,119). A quote from The Crucible by Arthur Miller, with very few words speaks so much. Abigail Williams the main “antagonist” gives the truth of the false believed behavior, but on the other hand influences her friend Marry Warren to feed lies to those around her to protect Abigail. She isn't credible. America is credible, and with the credibility it opens the doors of truthfulness. To what America has become today, we have no worries of having to distinguish the truth and the lies.

How do we determine the difference between truth and lies?

When we decided to give up. When we begin to believe we can't do it. By not avoiding what we know is of negative influence, what we can do, this allows dreams to become broken. “Consider what you can tolerate and accept and what makes you feel uncomfortable or stressed.” (Gionta, 1). By doing this we can prevent broken dreams. America has become a place of change, we tolerate the change and then own the change. Though making us uncomfortable, it postpones makes me dreams, but putting in the extra stretch America will make the dream come true.

How do dreams become broken?

By having dreams. A goal, a light at the end of the tunnel. Hope is what keeps us going, whether it be finishing college or going to college hope has a variety of forms. You'll have to find what it is you want most. “With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discord or our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood.” (Martin Luther King Jr., 3). He had a dream. His dream for unity, creed and brotherhood gave him hope to go through the age of radical racial segregation. America provides hope for better, it provides Dr. King hope. For he saw the potential this country has with unity. What will you hope and dream be? Whatever it'll be, our country will provide it.

Pathos emotional persuasion targeting your emotions. Ethos is the perspective of credibility. Logos the use of facts and logic. All of which are used everyday to manipulate people. “My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of men.” (John F. Kennedy, 221). Being of high “nobility” former President Kennedy uses ethos for his campaign, making himself seem as one of the people. To persuade those to vote for him. Similar to what America has become to today, such is infomercials ran by the government manipulative to give money to our soldiers. Though our own country does this, we know America stays to it's developed truth, and it's going for what it's meant to, helping those who fight for our freedom.

How are people persuaded to change the beliefs?

Individuals make the community. Everyone has their own part to keep the community in unity. In order to allow sanctuary for those inhabiting the community. America is one large community composed of many people. We must take care of this country in order for it to give us what we fight for. “This nation has placed its destiny in the hands and heads and hearts of its millions of free men and women, and it's faith in freedom under the guidance of God.” (Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 45). America has become a country for the people, giving its people a home of freedom. But we as the people of the giant community of America must keep this country safe, truthful, and united.
