A candidate is automatically moved into this step after completing his or her application.
What is apply?
This qualified candidate type, seeking a promotional opportunity, will be guaranteed an interview unless he/she is in a probationary period or has received a less than Standard rating in the last 12 months.
What is Internal?
Due to AB 1008, CA employers cannot ask a candidate about criminal convictions prior to the candidate receiving this.
What is a conditional offer of employment?
You'll receive this from HR, upon requisition approval and processing, as long as you are listed as the requester on the Staff Requisition Form.
What is an email?
This form is required to open a position for a candidate.
What is Requisition?
When a Hiring Manager places a candidate in this step they must also send a Notice of Conditional Offer (NOCA) to the Recruiter.
What is Extend Offer?
This type of application question, completed by a candidate, can result in the candidate being disqualified for hire.
What is Knockout?
The only salary question Hiring Managers should ask candidates.
What is, "What are your salary expectations for this position?"
In this workflow, the Hiring Manager is responsible for qualifying and scheduling candidates.
What is Self-Service?
This form must be received by the Recruiter after a candidate has been selected.
What is Notice of Conditional Appointment?
A candidate is moved to this step when a Recruiter/Hiring Manager determines they are no longer available to interview because they were chosen for another position at our organization.
What is Selected for Other Opportunity?
Hiring Managers must check this tab to see if a candidate has another application in progress.
What is Applications?
CA Employers cannot ask for this orally, in writing, personally or through an agent.
What is previous salary?
In this workflow, the Recruiter is responsible for qualifying and scheduling candidates.
What is Plus?
This form requires Executive approval.
What is the Requisition?
This step generates an automatic email from the system to Hiring Manager advising that the candidate has accepted.
What is Hire?
A Hiring Manager with a candidate in any of these 3 steps, can anticipate a phone call prior to anyone else trying to communicate with the candidate about other opportunities within the organization.
