A teenage girl rebels against her father and makes a deal with the devil so she can gain a pair of legs and marry a man that she fell in love with after saving his life. Unable to speak, the girl’s affections are ignored by the man, who instead falls in love with the devil in disguise. Only after risking the life of herself, her friends, and family does the man finally notice her.
