VK - "We believe that discipleship happens in community. By focusing on relationships, we will create connections between families, establish familiarity and trust with kids, and create a sense of belonging with volunteer teams."

VY - "We believe that discipleship happens in community. By focusing on small groups students will build relationships with their small group leader and other students in a safe environment where they can challenge and engage their faith with others"

Why are bathroom protocols so important?

Because they are high risk areas


"It is imperative as a church that we be proactive in protecting children, youth and vulnerable adults and in providing safe environments.

We must, as well, protect those who serve our children, youth and vulnerable adults. Our staff and volunteers need the security of knowing that they are working in a setting where processes and procedures are in place to minimize any possibility of an erroneous accusation." - p. 3

Discipleship


VK - "We believe that the Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and that the gospel changes the way we live. We are committed to teaching kids foundational biblical truth and to helping them experience God as they understand and respond to the gospel."

VY - "We believe that discipleship happens progressively. By meeting students where they are in their faith, and helping them to apply the gospel to their specific life circumstances, we hope to see students growing in obedience and relationship with Jesus daily."

At what classroom are students allowed to go to the bathroom on their own?

Plan to Protect covers policies for Nursery, Preschool and Elementary students. Students from nursery to hangout should not be alone when using the washroom.
