Sleep Token

200

One of my favorite bands of all time, this band was formed in Washington in 2005. Founded by one of their three guitarists, formerly known as Bulb, who grew to fame by posting riffs and covers to soundclick. These guys have been pushing the boundaries for over 20 years and most of their albums have the band name in them.

Periphery

Formed in 2012 and based out of Texas, this metalcore band is lead by their vocalist Markus Vik. Their guitarist, Trey is also the drummer in the band Fit for a King. They reached mainstream success with the release of their latest album, Heavener.

Invent Animate

400

This band is based out of Australia. Formed in 2009, their current vocalist, Marcus Bridge, joined in 2014. They did not reach mainstream success until the release of their 2019 album, Alien. Alien was filled with stories of the violent upbringing from an abusive father from Marcus's past.

Northlane

This band was formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2010. Lead by Chris Roetter, they have released 6 studio albums and 5 EPs; they also preformed a cover of "Some Nights" on the Punk Goes Pop 5 compilation in 2012. Their breakthrough album, No Eternity in Gold, was the last to feature founding member and bassist Aaron Evans, who was fired in 2023 due to allegations of sexual misconduct. They were also one of the openers to the first metal concert I ever went to, headlined by the band Currents.
