CROSSING THE LAKE
Jesus and his disciples crossed this body of water to reach the other side.
The Sea of Galilee
This is where the man lived, day and night.
Among the tombs (burial caves)
This is what the man called Jesus when he cried out to him.

This large group of animals was feeding on a nearby hillside.
A herd of pigs
These people ran off to tell the town and countryside what had happened.
Those who were tending the pigs
This was the region where Jesus arrived after crossing the lake.
The region of the Gerasenes
Even with this, no one was able to tie the man up.
A chain
The man begged Jesus to swear to God that he would not do this to him.
Hurt (Torture) him
This is what the demons begged Jesus to let them do.
Go into the pigs
Two things the people noticed about the healed man as he sat there.
He was dressed and thinking clearly
This was the very first thing Jesus did once they reached the shore.
He got out of the boat
The man had broken these apart many times, even though they were used to bind his hands and feet
Chains and leg irons
This is the command Jesus had already given to the evil spirit.
"Come out of this man, you evil spirit!"
About this many pigs made up the herd.

Seeing all this, the people began to beg Jesus to do this.
Leave their area
A man controlled by this came running to meet Jesus right after he stepped out of the boat.
An evil spirit
Night and day in the caves and on the hillsides, the man would cry out and do this to himself.
Cut himself with stones
This is the question Jesus asked the man.
"What is your name?"
After the evil spirits went into them, the pigs rushed down the bank and did this.
Ran into the lake
Instead of letting the healed man come with him in the boat, Jesus told him to do this.
Go home and tell his family what the Lord had done for him
This is where the man came from when he ran out to meet Jesus.
The burial caves (the tombs)
When the man saw Jesus from far away, this is what he did in front of him.
Ran and fell on his knees
This is the name the spirit gave, explaining that there were many of them inside the man.
Legion
This is what finally happened to the whole herd of pigs in the lake.
They drowned
This is where the man went to tell everyone what Jesus had done for him, leaving the people amazed.
